Our process is the result of over a 20 years of development and fine tuning, assuring the best fit for your feet. Your feet are as unique as you are and deserve to be treated especially well!
The process begins with your feet. Our experienced technicians match their shape and characteristics to the right brand of boots for your performance level and then begin the custom fitting process.
We have a wonderful assortment of boots for each and every shape of foot. We perform, among many techniques, special heat molding of the ski boots & snowboard boots to insure the best fit for every foot.
The very first step is to measure your feet. This is more than just the length. We check variables such as: ankle volume, dorsiflexion, the depth of your instep, the width of your foot. We will also ask you questions about your feet, whether you have had any injuries or special conditions and the type of skiing you do.
Based on this evaluation we will then bring you a selection of boots to see which feels best. We want you to have the best skiing experience and this means finding the perfect fit for you!
You test the fit of your feet in the boots and then make your decision. You try on the different brands and and compare them to determine the model that's closest to your feet, discussing the feel of the boots with your specialist.
After you have selected your boots, we begin the process of customizing them from the inside out. Heat molding liners, grinding or stretching shells, whatever it takes to match them to your feet. At this point you may choose to add custom footbeds to further customize the fit.
We take a precise impression of your feet and then your custom footbeds are heated and formed to this mold. Your technician carefully guides the process to insure that your custom-crafted insoles fit your feet precisely.
Each step of the way is handcrafted to insure a custom fit for each of your feet. When the footbeds are cooled, then we will begin trimming and posting them so that your journey across the slopes is the best ever!
When the boot fits to your foot. Then the specialist will show you how to adjust them. Each brand has various ways to close and micro-adjust. We show you how to do this properly.
The fitted boot is then taken to the ski bench and the bindings are adjusted on your skis. Time to hit the slopes, feel the difference, then if necessary, come back for fine tuning!
